COMMERCIAL SEED

Commercial Seed is the best value for seed used for only one season.

Growers don’t always need seed of the very highest standards, but confidence in your seed is critical for identity preservation and trace back in today’s grain market. PlantTech’s Commercial Seed is sensibly priced and fit for the purpose, providing growers with sound and viable seed. Commercial Seed is the cost-effective and convenient choice for grain production. Commercial Seed is available in bulk (minimum 5 tonne orders) and in some regions, offers a choice of seed treatments.

PLANTTECH SEED INTEGRITY PRESERVATION QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM

PlantTech is a Quality Assured company, through this Quality Assurance PlantTech developed their Seed Integrity Preservation Program.

The Seed Integrity Preservation (SIP) Program is for the purpose of producing seed of known varietal identity and purity.

This stringent SIP program is independently audited by the Department of Primary Industries and Resources South Australia (PIRSA). Becoming a Quality Assured Seed Company means that PlantTech’s SIP Program is a framework based on the principles of the OECD seed certification scheme. This Program was established by PlantTech because we believe that reliable information about the varietal purity and identity of the seed our customers buy is imperative.We are committed to the supply of first class quality seed to farmers throughout Australia.

Purchasing seed from PlantTech means that it has been approved through our SIP Quality Assurance Program, the key benefits of purchasing this Quality Assured seed are:

  • Guaranteed Genetic Purity – Genetic impurities (or off-types) rapidly increase where farmer retained seed is used
