Seed Certificates
The PlantTech Seed Integrity Preservation (SIP) scheme is PlantTech's own quality assurance program which has been developed by PlantTech in conjunction with Seed Services Australia, a Division of Primary Industries & Resources SA (PIRSA).
The SIP scheme encompasses many aspects of the traditional seed certification schemes with the added flexibility of catering for varieties specific requirements which are not covered under these certification schemes.
PlantTech's SIP scheme provides a fully traceable documentation of the production of all crops types in production and the resultant evidentiary records are audited by Seed Services Australia.
All seed produced under SIP is labeled with PlantTech's own SIP individually numbered label which gives the purchaser confidence that the seed has been produced according to a system that ensures that varietal purity and identification is preserved. All relevant information regarding the bag of seed can then be traced by the numbered SIP tag.
Seed Certificates
The seed you sow is likely to be the smallest cost input, however, it has one of the greatest single influences on the success of your crops and pastures. To ensure PlantTech distributors and growers can rapidly access seed quality information, seed certificates for all lines tested by Seed Services Australia are available on their website at www.ruralsolutions.sa.gov.au/seeds. Simply click on the 'Seeds Online' link located in the Related Services menu bar and then select the 'Public Test Results' link. You will then be prompted to enter a line number and cultivar name. For example, enter the line number HM707 and cultivar Mandelup to display the summary test results for this seed line. Click on the line number to display the full certificate. (If there are no results for the line number and cultivar you enter, please contact PlantTech Customer Service on 1800 112 400).
